Got a great story to share?

We are always looking for completed comic books & graphic novels with 100+ pages of content.

Lucha Comics: Submission Guidelines

We pride ourselves on giving our readers quality, mass market stories that can compete against any publisher. The fact that we are in a space dominated by Marvel, DC, Image, IDW, Dark Horse and numerous other publishers that are far larger than us is no reason to deliver a subpar experience to our readers. This is the standard that we hold ourselves to.

Lucha Comics is always looking for the next great story – we accept submissions in a variety of languages, but please keep in mind the following:

  • We do not pay for completed Comic Books or Graphic Novels – all pay is back-end, as royalties accumulate.
  • Your story must have a primary version in English or Spanish
  • We can connect authors to artists at our rate of $125 USD per page; this price is negotiable based on page volume
  • We currently are only accepting ongoing series that have at least 6 issues completed (a minimum of 126 pages of content) , or complete graphic novels that are a minimum of 48 pages excluding covers.
  • We love Comic Books, and are not afraid to go beyond capes and tights! We love all genres – as long as you have a great story, we want to see it!
  • We reserve the right to reject any submission at our sole discretion

    How to submit:

Feel free to submit your story to info@lucha.ca and be sure to include the following:

    • Details on the full creative team, including social media profiles
    • A PSD file of any interior artwork page, layered and at maximum resolution, preferably in CMYK colourspace
    • A high resolution PDF with at least 10 pages of continuous story
